UAE: <\/b>eclipse Group International has announced the departure of two companies from the group \u2013 Flair Event Services and eclipse Installations.<\/span><\/h2>\n

\u201cIn a move designed to refocus the eclipse Group activities around our core business units of eclipse Staging Services, eclipse Venue Services, Stage FX and Laser FX, the decision was taken to divest our holdings in both Flair and eclipse Installations with immediate effect,\u201d explained Simon Ransom, eclipse Group CEO.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the group\u2019s efforts to reinvest and grow its market share in the Middle East, the decision was made for Flair Event Services to \u2018branch out on its own\u2019. The company will continue to be led by Sameer Rahman, Flair\u2019s managing director since its creation in 2013, and will continue to provide equipment and event technology services to the local market under the Flair brand.<\/span><\/p>\n

The eclipse Installations business, meanwhile, has been sold to the current management and will undergo a rebrand as Echo 8. It will continue to provide its consultancy and A\/V design and installation services to the regional market under the leadership of David Fell. Echo 8 now joins a portfolio of companies owned and managed by Mr Fell.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSince the passing of our founder, Mark Brown, in late 2016, a reorganisation has been on the cards and it has taken this long for us to finalise our strategic path moving forward,\u201d concluded Mr Ransom. \u201cI wish both Sameer and David well in their new adventures and look forward to potentially collaborating with them on projects in the future.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
